I’m not really a Star Wars nerd, to be honest I actually thought Star Trek and Star Wars where the same thing up until a couple years ago.  I am however a hoodie nerd.  It’s my catnip.

A while back Marc Ecko came out with a new line of clothing (normally I’m not allowed to wear his clothes because I’m not what you would call… hardcore, in fact I’m as softcore as a 1940’s nudie film), but anyways this new line of clothing included hoodies that replicated a Storm Trooper and Boba Fett from Star Wars… Sweet!  These hoodies where softcore enough for the guys living in their parents basement to wear them but cool and ’street’ enough that guys who drive Hummers, Escalades, and other small penis type vehicles could wear them too… Super!

These 2 hoodies where so popular you couldn’t find them in the stores anywhere.  You would have to purchase them off of eBay for about the same price as the Death Star (like that Star Wars reference?  I thought you would).  Well I’m happy to say Marc Ecko has released six new hoodies/jackets for the Star Wars aficionado, I’ve added pictures of my favourites to my Flickr feed for your viewing pleasure.  They aren’t cheap though, the X Wing Pilot hoodie goes for $150US, but if you are a collector of sorts you will have to order a couple of these… who knows you may even be able to sell them later on eBay for the price of a Light Sabre (see how I did that again?)  I’m just waiting for them to come out with a Yoda hoodie for kids or a Chewbacca fur coat!
