I was away this weekend and forgot my BlackBerry charger at home… which can be super frustrating, especially when you use it like a mini computer such as I do but have to go easy on it in order to conserve those battery bars. Well there is now a stylish solution… solar powered bags by a company called Noon Solar.

These bags are not only stylish but are all hand-made and dyed using an all natural process that involves no chemicals… oh yeah, and they come complete with a paper thin flexible solar panel inserted on one side of the bag as well. This way no matter where you are you can face the solar panel on your bag towards the sun and the Power Bank on the inside of the bag will charge up. Once it’s full all you have to do is plug in your phone or iPod when it needs some more juice and the bag will charge it for you. Now that is pretty slick.

From $330US to $498US the bags aren’t cheap. But that is around the same price you would pay for a Coach bag… but with the guilt-free Noon Solar bag you get to be the one guy or gal who can recharge all of their friends phones or iPods on the go… thus making you a nerdy, stylish, environmentally friendly hero!
