Levi’s has come out with a cool new product called their Levi’s Slim Straight 514 Imprint Jeans. Rather than buying your jeans pre-faded you get to do the dirty work yourself. As the above image shows these jeans start up off a dark indigo colour but the more you wear them the more they fade, imprint and distress; letting you pretty much decide what kind of look you want.
Levi’s describes the 514 Imprint Jeans as:
A universal fit that’s not too snug or baggy, it’s cut low at the waist and close through seat and thigh. The more you wear it before the first wash, the more truthful the body imprint will be.
These sound pretty cool to me and for $79.50US I might pick up a pair. The key with this product is that the natural fading occurs at a much faster rate so you don’t have to wait for them to ‘actually’ wear out to have them ‘look’ worn out. I just hope I don’t get some mad bum imprints… that would be disappointing and a little hurtful.
