cougar life

Move over E-Harmony, Lava Life, and Plenty of Fish… there is a new online dating service on the prowl… Cougar Life!  Grrrrrrowl!

Cougar Life for CubsCougar Life is the brainchild of self-proclaimed cougar Claudia Opdenkelder who says she created CougarLife.com for women who are successful, self-confident and mature, who are looking to meet young, confident men… or as the website calls them… Cubs.  Opdenkelder also declares that “you don’t have to be Demi Moore or Madonna to land a cute cub, and whether you’re recently divorced, never married or just one yummy mummy; you will find what you’re looking for at CougarLife.com – your personal playground where you can lose your inhibitions, play the field or even find someone special.”

Well holy crap, sign me up twice!

Now just in case you are curious as to what a cougar and a cub are… just to make sure you qualify as one before you sign up, Cougar Life describes them as:

Cougar: Cougars are Women in their PRIME: independent, sexy and wildly successful. They enjoy men that are youthful, fit with the same zest for life. Cougars are classy, confident women that already possess many of the finer things in life — but now want the young, hot guy to go with it.

Cub: To snare a true Cougar a man needs to be youthful, fit, unintimidated and of course sexually driven! These men can range from athletes to intellectuals, and from technologists to entrepreneurs and all points in between; they can come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing they have in common is the desire to possess a sexually charged older woman.

Now although the site is more geared towards cougars finding cubs you can also do a reverse search (as I did) and find cougars in your area.  Apparently there are over 2640 cougars hanging around Vancouver (I’m really glad I don’t see one of my high-school teachers so far)… and of course you can refine your search by ethnicity, age, hair colour, and for all you vampires out there you can also search by blood type.

So if you are a Cougar looking for a Cub or a Cub looking for a Cougar or even a Mountain Lion, check out Cougar Life.

Cheers!
