The title sounds dorky I know… but trust me these things are pretty cool, especially if you have kids… or are just a big kid at heart.
Hu2 Design has created stickers that show the inner workings of regular day-to-day devices that we may take for granted. Although the power to your light switch is not necessarily run on Hamster Power it is a neat way to get people thinking about energy and the environment and where it all comes from before blindly plugging their MacBook into the wall. Unfortunately the stickers are made of vinyl (which can contain harmful chemicals), so although Hu2′s mind was in the right place they might want to get an environmental consultant next time.
But if the vinyl thing doesn’t bother you I think these stickers are a great way to cool your kid’s room up without having to resort to lame flower wallpaper or those tacky wall stamps of that guy playing a flute (if you don’t know the one I’m talking about you will see it one day and say “Oh! That’s what Jorden was talking about!”). I don’t know if I’d use that toilet sticker though… I don’t want to know where all that stuff goes.
I recommend you check out Hu2 Design’s website as they have lot’s of pictures of all the neat sticker ideas they have come up with. You can also check out my Flickr Feed as well for a few images.
Cheers!
