Two things before I take a much-needed Christmas blog break…  First off, I can’t thank you enough for visiting over the last few months and I really appreciate all the great feedback and kind words I have received on this “little blog” that I thought would only ever be read by my folks or my wife.  I have garnered over 11,000 hits since May and as each month goes by my readership grows substantially… Most of this growth is thanks to you for continuing to visit my site and for sharing it with your friends… so I guess technically I owe you some money for marketing jordenf.com for me… but since this blog generates zero revenue you’ll just have to continue to promote it out of the goodness of your heart.

The second thing I wanted to mention is my “Geeky Blog Christmas Present” to myself is a QR Barcode on the top right hand side of my page.  I have also added one to my Twitter page.  If you have a BlackBerry or an iPhone you can use it to scan the above barcode and will instantly be taken to jordenf.com on your mobile phone, making it way easier than typing all those annoying letters with your thumbs… who want’s to do all that work right!?  Give it a try, it’s a pretty cool piece of technology that I’m sure we will see more and more of in the future.
